Supergirl 35 (or 36)

Here is the cover to Supergirl issue 35, my second as regular cover artist. -UPDATE: It seems that there is an Alex Ross cover lined up for issue 35, so this cover will probably run as the cover for issue 36. I apologize for any confusion.-

I am sorry for not posting more frequently. I will try to pick up the pace!

Thanks for stopping by.

Joshua

Beautiful!
It reminds me of your New Mutants covers. Great job, the coloring and linework are terrific.
It will be up on the site this afternoon :)

Great cover!

I thought there was an Alex Ross cover for 35? Is this a variant?

Thanks, everyone.

Anj- As you may have noticed, I corrected my post to reflect your accurate information that Alex Ross is providing the cover for issue 35, which is part of a larger triptych DC had planned before I even started on the book. DC does produce variant covers for a lot of its books, including Supergirl, but I believe my covers will generally be the standard covers from month to month, with other artists occasionally providing a variant.

Thanks again for the kind words, everyone.

Back to work!

Molto Bella!
I love as you treat the anatomy (lights and shades).
Do you use photographic references?

This was announced as the cover for issue 36 in the DC December solicitations today. It is part of the New Krypton storyline.

Chris Sprouse will supply a variant. He will be hard-pressed to match this.
